I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then went to Texas A&M University where I graduated with a BS in Biology.  I moved to Houston, TX where I attended the University of Texas Health Sciences Center- Houston for medical school.  I loved both internal medicine and pediatrics and ultimately went to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for my MedPeds residency.  Since graduation, I have worked at Duke University doing primary care and then moved back to Oklahoma in 2020 and have worked in primary care here at OU since.  I am the MedPeds program director; additionally, I serve as the Associate Chief Physician Executive for Ambulatory Operations at OU Health.  My north star at each place I have worked is my patients and their health and social needs.  My research interests include Adverse Childhood Events, quality improvement within the ambulatory space, and health equity.  My hobbies include my five children and exercise.  I am a huge running enthusiast!
