Born in Germany to a military family, Claudia spent much of her childhood moving across the country. She now considers Huntsville, Alabama to be home. She attended Samford University from which she graduated with a BS in Biochemistry before completing medical school at the University of South Alabama. During medical school, Claudia served her community in multiple research initiatives, as treasurer of the OBGYN interest group, as volunteer with the Christian Medical Ministry of South Alabama, and by working with the financial intelligence and bioethics interest groups. Away from work, Claudia enjoys her time as a novice chef and major foodie. A lover of travel, Claudia loves exploring new places and trying out fun restaurants along the way. Not satisfied to stay on the sidelines, she considers her true passion to be cooking and enjoys trying out new recipes with friends and family.
