Why I chose OU: I chose OU because of the people-- everyone in the department is genuinely supportive and welcoming. It was evident they truly care about their residents and care about helping them achieve both personal and professional goals, which made OU stand out from other programs. I have lived in Oklahoma my whole life and really love OKC as well as the community of people I have found here. The opportunity to train in a place that feels like home, surrounded by a supportive network of family and community, made OU an ideal fit for both my professional development and personal life.
