My research interests in the physiology, endocrinology, and metabolism of obesity, diabetes, and liver disease, particularly in adolescents. We assess a broad range of cardiometabolic risk factors in young people with those conditions and compare them to healthy peers and measure changes in response over time or in response to interventions. Measurements of physical activity and physical function are central to a lot of my work.
