Arthur Grimes, MD is a Trauma, Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgeon in the Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. He was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana and attended Louisiana Tech University for undergraduate studies and LSU Health Sciences Center- Shreveport for medical school. He is a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma General Surgery Residency Program, where he developed a strong interest in caring for those who are sick and injured related to trauma or other critical illnesses. After his training at OU, he completed a AAST trauma fellowship training program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While there, he also developed an interest for acute burn injury care.
