Bhalaajee Meenakshi-Sundaram, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified pediatric urologist with Oklahoma Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City. He helps patients and families manage all pediatric urology conditions, including congenital anomalies of the upper and lower urinary tracts, undescended testes, hernia/hydroceles, hypospadias, stones, and urinary tract infection.
Dr. Sundaram has a special interest in urinary tract reconstruction, hypospadias, and robotic kidney and bladder surgery, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He serves as the Director of Robotic Surgery for Oklahoma Children's Hospital.
After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at the University of Oklahoma, he earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his urology residency training at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Sundaram completed his fellowship in pediatric urology at Washington University in St. Louis.
In addition to this clinical practice, Dr. Sundaram is also interested in global health. He participates in urologic surgery missions to underserved countries with IVUmed (International Volunteers in Urology).
Dr. Sundaram was recently selected as one of the Top Doctors in the region by 405 Magazine.
