My research focuses on understanding how activating PIK3CA mutations alter lymphatic endothelial cell function and contribute to pulmonary lymphatic disease. Using genetic mouse models, imaging, and spatial transcriptomic approaches, including MERFISH, I investigate changes in lymphatic endothelial identity, vascular barrier function, immune cell interactions, and tissue remodeling. My work aims to better define the cellular and molecular mechanisms driving disease progression and identify pathways that may represent potential therapeutic targets.
