Juan C. Claros-Sorto, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Claros-Sorto earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Clinical Oncology, the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American College of Surgeons.
As a Surgical Oncologist specialized in breast cancer, he treats all types and stages of breast cancer. In addition, he is fluent in both English and Spanish.
