Associate Professor Palliative Medicine
Ryan Nipp, MD, MPH, MBA is a gastrointestinal oncologist and cancer outcomes researcher at OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center. He completed an internal medicine residency at Duke University and oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. His research focuses on optimizing the care delivered to patients with cancer. Specifically, his research platform consists of studies interfacing between palliative care, geriatric oncology and health services research.
Dr. Nipp’s goal is to improve the quality of life and care for patients with cancer and their family and he is interested in developing models of healthcare delivery to improve patients’ quality of life, address their symptom burden and promote patient-centered decision-making.”
