Dr. Sarah R. Durica received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, completed her neurology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and finished fellowship training in epilepsy at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She currently serves as an Associate Program Director for the Neurology Residency.
Dr. Durica is deeply committed to medical education, with a particular focus on EEG training and assessment. Her work centers on advancing EEG education through innovative teaching tools, standardized evaluation methods, and evidence‑based curriculum design. She leads research aimed at improving EEG proficiency across all levels of training and collaborates closely with residency and fellowship programs to support professional development and clinical excellence. In addition to her educational roles, she is actively involved in career and personal mentorship, previously serving as Director of the Resident Wellness and Mentorship Program.
