Unaiza Zaman, MD
Assistant Professor
Dr. Unaiza Zaman is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a medical oncologist at the Stephenson Cancer Center. She specializes in the care of patients with breast cancer and is dedicated to advancing cancer treatment through clinical research while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Zaman earned her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan before moving to the United States to pursue further training. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York, followed by fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where she also served as Chief Fellow.
Her professional interests focus on advancing breast cancer care through clinical trials and research aimed at optimizing treatment strategies and improving patient outcomes. Dr. Zaman is passionate about translating research advances into meaningful improvements in patient care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Zaman enjoys traveling, swimming, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with family.
