Dr. Noori earned her medical degree and completed her ophthalmology residency and a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Tehran (Iran) University of Medical Sciences. After her fellowship, she served for 2 years on the retinal faculty at Farabi Eye Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

Building on this experience, she then decided to pursue her training and career in the USA. She started with a retina research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. While in Pittsburgh, she joined the whole eye transplantation project at the University of Pittsburgh's plastic surgery department.

After her research fellowship, she completed a year of clinical medical retina fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami. Continuing her advanced training, Dr. Noori also completed a 2-year clinical uveitis fellowship at the same program and has decided to make uveitis care the core of her practice.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Noori has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter on clinical and surgical management of retinal diseases. Her recent research has concentrated on advanced retinal imaging in uveitis, specifically evaluating the role of optical coherence tomography angiography in detecting and monitoring the effects of ocular inflammation in both the retina and choroid. She is also the primary investigator of the OU Health Dean McGee Eye Institute site for several national retinal clinical trials run by DRCR Network.

She enjoys participating in the training of the next generation of ophthalmologists and received the DMEI Award of Excellence in Resident Clinical Teaching in 2023. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, singing pop music, and doing mind-body exercises.
