Dr. Lim grew up in Ohio and attended medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by a Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus fellowship at Duke University. Dr. Lim’s very first exposure to ophthalmology as a medical student was with a pediatric ophthalmologist and she enjoyed seeing children in the clinic. In practice, Dr. Lim finds joy in interacting with children every day, building long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families, and treating conditions that can be managed medically and surgically. Dr. Lim chose to practice at OU Health Dean McGee Eye Institute because of the dedication to providing good patient care and the collaborative nature the department.
Outside of work, Dr. Lim is involved in community organizations such as the OKC Museum of Art Moderns and Leadership OKC’s young professional organization (LOYAL). She enjoys traveling, reading fiction, exercising, and making art at the Oklahoma Contemporary Studio School.
