Radiation Oncology Resident, PGY 2
Dr. Wade McLanahan, originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He recently finished his intern year (2024–2025) at OUHSC and is now continuing his training in Radiation Oncology. Dr. McLanahan brings a unique analytical approach to medicine, shaped by his engineering background. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys golf, traveling, reading, and exploring the imaginative worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien and Dungeons & Dragons.
