Yutian Thompson, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Developmental and Behavior Pediatrics. She received her Master’s in applied psychology at Brandeis University and doctorate degree in quantitative psychology at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Thompson is a quantitative psychologist and biostatistician whose primary research interest includes psychometrics, longitudinal study, missing data analysis and the applications of quantitative methods in clinic, health and child developmental related studies. 

Dr. Yutian Thompson currently serves as the lead for the improvement of child welfare system data quality for the National Children’s Alliance. She is also actively involved in numerous research projects focusing on children’s maltreatment, problematic and illegal sexual behaviors, home-based and intentional visitation services, early interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorder population at young age. In addition to her research activities, Dr. Thompson provides statistics trainings and consulting for researchers in pediatrics.
