Established and accredited by the ACGME in 2024, the mission of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is to train physicians to provide high quality, evidence-based, and efficient care to the children of Oklahoma. We seek to train a diverse cohort of physicians who exhibit a lifelong commitment to grow in knowledge and contribute to the progress of the practice of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Through reflection with program leadership and mentors, fellows will have the opportunity to tailor their education within their individualized curriculum to meet their interests aligning with the varying career opportunities in Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Graduates would ideally go on to practice in diverse settings including community hospitals and academic hospitals where they can contribute to clinical care, research, education, and advocacy.
