Scholarly activity is an important part of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship program. The dedicated faculty members in our Section support the scholastic endeavors of our fellows through active participation and oversight of their research and publication. As part of our program, fellows are ensured protected time to pursue their research interests as related to the requirements set forth by the ACGME.
Furthermore, we support participation in the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) and allow fellows to attend annual NASPGHAN conferences for fellows in all three years of our program. Second-year and third-year fellows may also attend the NASPGHAN Annual Meeting to present their research.
