Welcome to the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Rheumatology at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. OU Health Pediatric Rheumatology is in the OU Children’s Hospital and specializes in the diagnosis and management of infants, children, and adolescents with rheumatic diseases including juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, immune mediated myositis like dermatomyositis, spondylarthritis, scleroderma, chronic non-infectious osteomyelitis (CNO), and autoinflammatory conditions such as Familial Mediterranean Fever. Services are provided in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and include infusion medication administration, multidisciplinary clinics/care, and joint injections.
Mission:
The mission of the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at OU Health is to lead in providing compassionate, expert, and accessible care for children and families across Oklahoma affected by rheumatic diseases. We are dedicated to closing gaps in pediatric rheumatology access statewide, especially for those historically underserved—through excellence in clinical care, innovative and collaborative research, and comprehensive education of medical trainees and the community.
