Dr. George Wuni is a fellow at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. He received his bachelor’s in medicine and surgery from University of Ghana Medical School in Accra, Ghana. He then went on to complete his residency training in Internal Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center in affiliation with Columbia University in New York. He completed a fellowship in advanced hospital medicine from Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. He is also currently enrolled in an executive MBA/MS in Healthcare leadership program at Cornell University/Weill-Cornell Medicine. His medical interests include geriatrics, cardiology, cardiac regeneration, administrative medicine, and preventive medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys playing the bass guitar and piano and plays for his local church. He also enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring nature, and spending time with his family.
