Dr. Akande will be joining the critical care faculty after completing residency in Pediatrics at Texas A&M and fellowship in PCCM at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She also received her Master’s Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Her interests include research in public health initiatives in underserved communities.
