Dr. Rachel Zettl is a dual board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. She recently joined the faculty at OU Health and is currently working in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department. Prior to medical school she taught high school chemistry, biology, physics, and biomedical science. She was the Medical Director of a PHP/IOP program specializing in adolescents ages 12-18 in her prior position. During her time in this position, she worked with a population of patients that typically presented with dual diagnosis mood and substance use disorders. Dr. Zettl became interested in behavioral health care while growing up in a rural community and seeing members of her community and family struggle silently with mental health disorders due to lack of resources and stigma.
