Faculty

The Department of Radiological Sciences Graduate Program in Medical Physics is comprised of faculty physicists from both the Department of Radiological Sciences and the Department of Radiation Oncology. With over a century of combined experience in the field of Medical Physics, the faculty governing the program provides both state-of-the-art research opportunities and education experience. The faculty in each department provide mentoring to graduate students who gain experience both in the clinical and scientific realms.

Clinical/Research Interests:

As an ABR certified diagnostic medical physicist working in academic hospitals, I fulfilled my clinical duty on quality assurance for x-ray imaging modalities and enjoyed my educational role through teaching medical physics graduate students, medical physics residents, and radiology residents.  My focus of research is on high resolution x-ray imaging systems, image quality, patient dose, and instrument control.
