Doug Rowles, MD is a Board Certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Dr. Rowles sees patients in the OU Physicians Adult Orthopedic Surgery Clinic.
Dr. Rowles earned his medical degree from the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, in Portsmouth, Virginia. He attended a Sports Medicine fellowship with the Department of Orthopedics Sports, at the Methodist Sports Medicine Institute, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Rowles proudly served 24 years in the United States Navy. Douglas J Rowles, CDR (RET).
