Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) at OU Physicians offers specialized care for women with complex benign gynecologic conditions including abnormal uterine bleeding, dysmenorrhea (painful periods), leiomyoma disease (fibroids), benign pelvic masses, adenomyosis, and endometriosis. We offer a wide range of minimally invasive surgical services including but not limited to minimally invasive myomectomy (removal of fibroids), laparoscopic cystectomy (removal of ovarian cysts), laparoscopic excision of endometriosis, and laparoscopic hysterectomy (removal of the uterus). We also offer long term follow up for those women with complex chronic conditions such as endometriosis. We currently have one fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon who works with each patient to develop an individualized care plan.
