The deadline for submitting all application materials to the OUHSC PA Program is September 1st. We encourage applicants to check the online application checklist often to confirm that all application components have been received.
To be considered for admission to the OUHSC Physician Associate Program, a completed application must be submitted through CASPA and a supplemental application must be submitted to the OUHSC Office of Admissions and Records. Applications for the OUHSC Physician Associate Program Class of 2028 (matriculating June 2026) are available through CASPA beginning June 1st. CASPA Application Deadline: September 1st
To qualify for entrance into the Class of 2028, the online application and all supporting documentation must be submitted to CASPA by September 1st. A completed CASPA application includes:
- Three letters of reference (entered on CASPA application).
- Personal statement (uploaded to CASPA application).
- Life Experiences Essay (uploaded to CASPA application).
- Official transcripts sent directly from all schools attended.
- Medical and non-medical experiences.
After submitting the online application, applicants should check the CASPA Applicant Portal frequently to verify that references, personal statements, resume, and transcripts have been received and verified. You do not need to send transcripts to OUHSC.
OUHSC Supplemental Application Deadline: September 1st
The supplemental application for the OUHSC Physician Associate Program is located at https://apps.ouhsc.edu/admissions/. A separate $75 supplemental application fee is required. Applications will not be considered complete until the CASPA, supplemental applications, and all the necessary documents for both applications have been received. English proficiency, TOEFL requirements: Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is essential to your success at the OUHSC. If English is not your first language, you must demonstrate English proficiency before admission. See the list of English proficiency requirements listed by the academic program.
If an applicant is not exempt by the list in the link above, all applicants born outside the United States, regardless of citizenship status, must provide a TOEFL score of 79 or better on the Internet-based test or secure a TOEFL waiver by September 1 to be considered for admission.
For an applicant to be considered for admission to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Physician Associate Program, the CASPA application and OUHSC supplemental application must be completed by September 1st.
