All prospective applicants are highly encouraged to shadow actively practicing Physician Assistants before applying to the OU OKC PA Program. There is no specific number of required shadowing hours, but applicants are encouraged to shadow at least three PAs in different specialties. It is recommended that you shadow PAs from the following specialties: Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, and a Specialty ( Dermatology, Pediatrics, etc.).
