The OU College of Medicine Department of Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program is an ACGME fully accredited 5-year training program which accepts 6 residents a year at the PGY-1 level.
The residency provides trainees with a well-rounded experience in both general and subspecialty orthopedics. A solid academic conference schedule supplements an excellent clinical experience gained through a variety of well-structured rotations at the OU Medical Center Level I Trauma Center and Children's Hospital, the Oklahoma City Veterans Administration Medical Center and several private practice hospitals in the surrounding Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
