Application Process

All applications to our program must be submitted through the) Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Your application is considered complete only when all of the following items are received.

  • Application
  • Personal Statement
  • Three Letters of Recommendation for the 2024-2025 match
    • One from a Program Director or Chairman
    • One should come from a Urologist who knows you well
  • Medical School Transcript
  • USMLE Step 1 Score and Step 2 results. COMLEX scores are also accepted. While taking Step 2 for DO students is not required, it is highly encouraged.

Fall 2024 Interview Information:

Our department is using a hybrid approach.

OU and visiting students will be interviewed virtually. The two interview dates are: 

  • Monday December 16th (afternoon)
  • Friday December 20th (afternoon)

All other selected applicants will be interviewed in-person. The two interview days are:

  • Tuesday November 12th (with a social event the night before from 7-9 pm)
  • Thursday December 12th (with a social event the night before from 7-9 pm)

The Department of Urology will contribute $100 towards each applicant's hotel stay at the Embassy Suites near campus.
