Application Process

On July 1, 2019, The Department of Urology made history by welcoming four new residents instead of three after receiving approval from the ACGME for an increase in our resident complement.

2020 Interview Dates
Thursday, November 12th
Friday, November 13th
Wednesday, December 9th
Saturday, December 12th
Tuesday, December 15th

All interviews in 2020 will be conducted by Zoom.

During your interview you will have a chance to meet with:

Dr. Michael Cookson, Chairman
Dr. Gennady Slobodov, Program Director
Dr. Brian Cross, Associate Program Director
As well as other faculty.

Further information including driving directions, maps and hotels will be emailed to those who are selected to interview.

All applications to our program must be submitted through the) Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Your application is considered complete only when all of the following items are received.

  • Application
  • Personal Statement
  • Two Letters of Recommendation for the 2021 match
    • One from a Program Director or Chairman
    • One should come from a Urologist who knows you well
  • Medical School Transcript
  • USMLE Step 1 Score

Your application must be complete by October 1st in order to be reviewed by our Program.  Please do not mail or email additional materials; they will not be included with your application for review.
