Comprehensive Academic Health Center. The Oklahoma City campus includes seven professional colleges and is part of the Oklahoma Health Center, a 200-acre complex that includes OU Medical Center, VA Medical Center, Dean McGee Eye Institute, The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center, Stephenson Cancer Center, University Research Park, and Oklahoma’s only Level One Trauma Center.

Medical Student Research Electives are offered in practice-based research and clinical decision-making by the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine.
The MD/PhD dual degree program provides training for individuals with strong clinical and basic science interests for research careers in academic medicine. All MD/PhD students receive a stipend plus full tuition throughout their training.
The Community Health Alliance was created by medical students and provides an opportunity for students to serve the health care needs of the uninsured and under-served.
