The following competency-based Educational Program Objectives (EPOs) guide the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the College of Medicine undergraduate medical education program. Courses and clerkships organize the instruction and assessment of medical students using relevant EPOs listed in the document below. The core curriculum includes competencies in medical knowledge, patient care, communication, professionalism, practice-based learning, and systems-based practice. The School of Community Medicine track includes a supplemental EPO regarding community medicine.
