Andy was born and raised in central Illinois in the town of Charleston, home of the original Jimmy John's. He earned his degrees in exercise science and pre-medicine at Eastern Illinois University and then went to the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford where he was in the Rural Medical Education Program. Andy and his wife Maddie have 3 little boys, Trey, Parker, and Brooks. He loves spending his free time with friends and family exploring Oklahoma City at places like the Zoo, Science Museum, and Dodgers' games. After completing residency in the OU Family Medicine program in OKC, he stayed on as one of the sports medicine fellows where he is excited to advance his training in caring for athletes of all ages and helping them return to peak performance and maintain healthy, fulfilling lives.
