Harold M. Burkhart, MD, is Professor and Division Chief of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. He is board-certified in Congenital Cardiothoracic, Thoracic and General Surgery, with expertise in Neonatal Heart Surgery, Cardiac Valve Repair, Complex Congenital Cardiac Repair, Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery, and Pediatric Thoracic Surgery. He is a contributor to stem cell research for HLHS. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd annually since 2016. Dr. Burkhart has also been recognized as a Top Doctor in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery by U.S. News & World Report annually since 2011.
