Mackenzie is originally from Whitesboro, TX but spent much of her childhood in Marietta, OK. She received an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University and then came back to Oklahoma to attend medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. She enjoys spending her free time catching up with friends and family, brunching, riding her horse, and treating herself to fancy coffee.
