Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship

The section of Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine offers a three-year ACGME-accredited fellowship with training in a broad array of pediatric diabetes and endocrine disorders. The goal of the Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship training program is to prepare trainees for successful careers in Pediatric Endocrinology. After successful completion of the program qualified fellows are eligible to sit for the ABP Pediatric Endocrinology certifying exam.

Why OU?

  • Our section has a strong partnership with the OU Health Harold Hamm Diabetes Center, an internationally recognized center in diabetes research, patient care, and diabetes prevention, as well as Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, the state's only comprehensive, freestanding pediatric hospital.

  • Our section participates in Camp Blue Hawk, a residential camp for children and teens, ages 9-17, with type 1 diabetes. The camp focuses on increasing campers' confidence, diabetes self-management skills, and facilitating the development of meaningful friendships between campers while providing respite for families of youth with type 1 diabetes.

  • You will work and learn in the heart of Oklahoma City. Located centrally in the state and nation, Oklahoma City has a lot to offer: exceptional educational opportunities, professional sports, a strong economy, a commitment to the arts, and one of the lowest costs of living in the country.

Applications should be submitted through ERAS.

We sponsor J-1 and H-1b visas for qualified applicants. Due to COVID-19, all interviews will be virtual.

Once you have submitted your application through ERAS, we will review and contact you regarding the interview process.
