Choosing to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine was an easy decision for me. From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. The vibrant school spirit symbolized by our crimson colors and the growing community in Oklahoma City have always made OU College of Medicine feel like home. One of the key reasons I chose OU College of Medicine is the strong sense of community fostered by the module system. From the first year, students are provided with study and conference rooms that serve as a home base, creating a supportive environment for the initial two years of medical school. These module systems act as family during all four years of medical school. The OU College of Medicine is also unique as it is the only medical school in Oklahoma with an integrated campus. This allows students to explore a wide range of specialties without having to go elsewhere, providing comprehensive and diverse clinical experiences. Finally, OU College of Medicine’s commitment to excellence was a significant factor in my decision. The dedication to providing a high-quality education and training ensures I will be well-prepared to make a positive impact as a future physician. I am proud to be part of a community that shares my passion for outstanding medical care and personal growth.
