MOCA Simulation Course

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center simulation program meets the requirements of Part IV of the ABA's MOCA. The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center is an endorsed simulation center by the American Society of Anesthesiologists and a member of their Simulation Education Network.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing (email) within 1 month or 30 days prior to the course date will receive a full refund, minus a $250.00 administrative charge. Cancellation received after 30 business days prior to course date will not be refunded. If less than 5 participants are registered 30 days prior to the course date, the course will be cancelled with a full refund.

you should be better equipped to:

This course is exclusive to anesthesiologists only.

• Course size ranges from 6 - 12 participants with 2 - 4 instructors per course.

 • Recognize and manage hypoxemia caused by different conditions (difficult airway management, sepsis, equipment failure, ect). • You will NOT be tested.
• Identify and manage hemodynamic instability. • All course results are confidential.
• Utilize key principles of teamwork and crisis resource management. • Each participant will take part in active learning and will be asked to manage at least one scenario.
• Discuss the most recent practice advisories and guidelines for multiple anesthesia related incidents. • Each scenario will be debriefed in a non-judgmental manner.
