Monthly Surgical Simulation Skills Labs at the OU College of Medicine Clinical Skills Education & Testing Center help compliment a busy and robust conference schedule. The year starts off with a Basic Orthopedic Surgery Skills Lab for our incoming PGY-1 residents in July. Other simulation skills lab topics covered throughout remainder of the year include trauma fracture fixation; knee & shoulder arthroscopy; knee, hip, shoulder & ankle arthroplasty; spine surgery; foot-ankle surgery; and hand surgery. Residents receive both group and one-on-one instruction during these very popular labs using state of the art equipment.
