Alumni Day

We are excited to announce that Reunion 2024 will take place on September 12-14. Classes ending in 4 and 9 will celebrate special milestones. If you are a member of a class ending in 4 or 9, and have interest in helping outreach with your classmates, please contact Lindsey Manning at Lindsey-Manning@ouhsc.edu or by calling 405-271-2353. 

The day will be filled with tours of campus, a look at medical education and how the College of Medicine is making an impact in Oklahoma and beyond. The day will conclude with our annual Alumni Dinner and Awards at Vast in Oklahoma City. Join your classmates for a enjoyable evening on the 50th floor, overlooking the campus and downtown Oklahoma City. You will be amazed at the Oklahoma landscape views!

Staying for the weekend? The fun doesn't have to end. On September 14th, College of Medicine alumni are invited to Boomer Bash, a tailgate before the OU vs. Tulane football game that is sponsored by the OU Alumni Association.

Friday, September 13th

10:30am to 12pm - Life as a Medical Students in 2024

Hear from our medical students about why they chose medicine as a career and why OU was the right place for them. Find out what medical school is like, explore changes in the learning environment and what OU is doing to stay ahead in medical education.

12pm to 1:15pm - Alumni Lunch with Classmates

Tours depart from Bird Library Patio

Explore the College of Medicine and the OUHSC campus on a walking tour with current medical students.

Parking: VAST is located on the 50th Floor of the Devon Tower in Oklahoma City. The entrance and valet parking are located between the Colcord Hotel and Devon Tower. You can access the entrance from the west-bound land of Sheridan Avenue. Valet parking is available for $15/car or you may use a city garage or street parking.

Party with fellow Sooners at Boomer Bash before the OU vs. Tulane football game! The Pride of Oklahoma, OU Pom and the excitement of gameday are all a part of the fun – just steps away from the Palace on the Prairie! Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Lodging Information

The annual Reunion Dinner at Vast is connected to the Colcord Hotel. The Colcord Hotel has a discounted rate available for your stay. Additionally, there are several other hotels in the near vicinity to the OU Health Sciences Campus.
