Barbara Prather

Barbara Prather graduated from Northern Oklahoma College and joined the Health Sciences Center in 2001.  She began her career at OUHSC in cardiology as an administrative assistant and electrophysiology fellowship coordinator.  She moved to the education section of internal medicine in 2003 and began her work as the 3rd year clerkship coordinator.  In 2007 Barbara became the administrative manager of the educational objectives of internal medicine.  In addition to managing the 3rd year clerkship, Barbara oversees the management of our residency program.  With such a wonderful team with Kia and Alicia, this is an easy task!  Barbara’s duties include scheduling and maintenance of the clerkship, answering billing questions regarding resident assignments, WebAds annual review, APD input, vacation recording, CCC record maintenance, policy maintenance and any assistance needed to complete other necessary tasks for the program.

Kia Lemons

Kia Lemons joined the University of Oklahoma Health and Sciences Center in 2012.  She started her career at OUHSC in the infectious disease section and was the fellowship coordinator for five years.  In 2018 Kia joined the internal medicine department as a residency coordinator.  Kia loves working with her co-coordinators and residents.  She truly enjoys seeing the residents grow and develop into wonderful physicians throughout their training within our program.  Although our staff cross train and are prepared to answer any questions you may have, Kia’s focus is in onboarding of new interns, assistance with visa issues, Sooner Care, PECOS, in-service exams, interview scheduling, match and graduation planning.
