Under the umbrella of DEI, we have a newly established Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) track! Led by Dr. Rickman, along with co-directors Drs. Parrish and Mamatov, this track will officially start January 2023.  

The goal of this track is to equip learners for leadership and advocacy roles related to JEDI through acquiring knowledge, skills, and attributes required for teaching, developing strategies, and interventions to promote JEDI in their community, professional, and personal lives.  

While there are many components to this longitudinal track, here are a few highlights: leadership course, legislative advocacy curriculum, journal club, required electives and individualized curriculum during Y weeks, and a scholarly project. This track is intended to span all three years of residency.
