Dr. Douglas is a board certified Family Medicine Physician, the Medical Director, as well as the Director for Didactic Education for the Physician Associate Program. Dr. Douglas graduated from the OU College of Pharmacy in 2003 with his Pharm.D. , and then earned his M.D. from OU College of Medicine in 2007. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at OUHSC followed by a residency in Family Medicine where he served as chief resident. He had a primary care practice prior to his return to OUHSC in 2016.
Dr. Douglas serves on several health legislation and policy committees representing family medicine physicians across the state and region. His special clinic interests and areas of expertise include: clinical pharmacology, toxicology, infectious diseases, and public health policy.
