Why I chose OU: The reason I chose our program: I chose OU Anesthesiology because of its robust, well-rounded clinical experience, family-like supportive culture, and strong opportunities for research and leadership. The program directors work to make you an exceptional clinical anesthesiologist first but also support residents’ exploration and pursuit of their own individual passions. Besides its intern year being one of the most unique in the country, OU’s residency program strikes the perfect combination of holding its residents to a standard of excellence while maintaining a great work-life balance.
