Nate Alder, MD
Nate grew up in the mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University followed by medical school at the University of Utah. At the end of his first year of medical school, Nate’s wife gave birth to their twin daughters. Around that time, he was fortunate enough to stumble upon the field of urology. When searching for a residency program Nate was looking for a program with high operative volume, and a supportive environment, all in a family-friendly city. Fortunately, he found the perfect fit at the University of Oklahoma. OU’s rapidly expanding program covers all subspecialties of urology, not to mention a new state-of-the-art hospital, cancer center, children’s hospital, and VA. Along with the friendly culture of the faculty and residents, Oklahoma City is affordable, fun, and an easy city to live in, which makes it a perfect place to raise a young family. Nate enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, rooting for the Utah Jazz, and watching college football.
